North America

Dario was born in the city of Rosario, Argentina, South America. After attending a private Catholic school for two years, his parents were converted to Christ from Catholicism. He then completed elementary education in a public school and graduated from High School with the title of Electro-Mechanical Technician.

In 1984, he received Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord during the invitation extended by Missionary James Strickland. In 1994, he dedicated his life to The Lord’s service at summer camp; after hearing a message on Isaiah 6 by Missionary Jesse Parnell.

Dario received theological training from Seminario Bautista Biblico del Cono Sur and Faith Baptist Bible College; plus a great amount of practical training through Christian Service (evangelism, discipleship, music, teaching, and preaching) in the local church where his father pastored for 12 years.

He met Talitha Coleman at a Baptist Youth Camp in Buenos Aires, Argentina (where she grew up as a missionary kid) and they married in 1998. Today they have 4 children: Sophia, Michelle, David, and Cynthia Chiesa. Dario worked in the secular world for Pepsi Company in Argentina and at John Deere 10 years here in the United States.

Dario and his wife joined Baptist Mid-Missions team to serve alongside Gerald and Julie Hawk in Church Planting among Hispanics in Katy, Texas (suburb of Houston).

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Talitha is presently serving in Maranatha Baptist at her sending church in Grimes, Iowa. In 1980, Talitha was saved during her parents deputation, on their way to Argentina as missionaries, in Memphis, New York.

Talitha’s family moved to Argentina, South America, at the age of 6 years and she went to private Argentine school through 7th grade and then did homeschooling until she graduated from High School. Talitha is the oldest of seven children. During high school she dedicated her life to the Lord to do whatever He wished her to do in His will.

She studied in the Bible Institute in Argentina, then three years at Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin and graduated after one year at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. Talitha has worked in the secular world as a bilingual specialist at Wells Fargo, a Photographer, a Mary Kay consultant, teaching English and language interpreter.

Ministry experience includes working in many areas over the years; a few of those are: children/youth ministries, ladies Bible studies, Spanish ministries and Teaching English. Talitha and her husband, Dario, are preparing to do church planting in the second largest county of Hispanics of the USA in Katy, Texas. They are excited to serve their loving Savior together, as a family, reaching Latinos for Christ!

The Weeks

Tim was born in 1956 in Martinique to missionary parents, and Marsha also grew up in a Christian home in NY where the habit was to attend church when the doors were open. Both were saved at eleven years of age after realizing that they needed to repent of their own sins and believe in the finished work of Jesus rather than trusting in the fact that their parents were saved and faithfully serving. Both followed the Lord in baptism and continued to live for Him. Tim became involved in Sunday school, VBS, and other children’s ministries, and Marsha tells of committing her life as a sixteen-year-old to serve as a missionary. Tim and Marsha met at Baptist Bible College, and after graduation, they served in France for almost twenty years. Upon returning from the field, Tim served as senior pastor of their sending church in NJ for three years, as a development officer at BBC, and as hospice chaplain in PA. They are now serving with BCP as Eastern Regional Field Director. They are confident that the Lord has led them here and are trusting Him to accomplish His will in and through them. The Weeks have six children and seven grandchildren.
